“Just wanted to let you know that I have recieved my 5.6 Mk II with the super Alnico 12 and my god, these speakers are overwhelming! I have never heard such powerfull, unveiled and detailed sound. It just knocks me off my feet. The bass is brutal with these speakers, just using cheap computer speakers lately I had forgotten how real bass sounds like. The soundstage, realism and stereo imaging is almost uncanny, it’s like the music is performed live in your room. Unfortunaltely, I live in a flat so I have to “keep it down” a bit, personally, I think these speakers sound best when they are played with a bit of volume. The volume control of my current amp is not sensitive enough for these speakers, it’s a bit of “all or nothing” so I will have a look for a new amp (or change the pot on the volume maybe), 1-3 W should do more than enough. Just wanted to say that I am really happy with these speakers..and a bit chocked of hearing music like this. First time I try a full range single driver system. Frank at Wyatt Acoustics/woodworking did a really fantastic job with the veneer (a lovely american swirl walnut). He is also very nice to work with, my warmest recommendations. I will send you a pic so you can have a look at these beauties.

“We finally got them all hooked up … took Noel drilling new holes in the floor and rearranging the couch to fit the satellites in! … so I couldn’t resist putting on “Service with a Smile,” even with “just” (hah!) the three mains hooked up. So YOUR music was the first thing I played on them here – had to be! Then I played some of Aldo Tagliapietra’s Unplugged CD, formerly Le Orme singer … the acoustic sound was *gorgeous* and warm and rich!
and *then* … drumroll … with the full 5.1 system in place … played my first 5.1 CD:
FOXTROT!!!
OH – MY – GOD …
I went into a *deep trance* … enveloped in the astonishing *depth* of the music …
lovin’ it. also played After Crying (a fave), and Jon Anderson (all-time fave).

I’ve been auditioning the audio nirvana super 8 alnico monitor for quite several days and I should say it’s really stunning. The monitor really blend so well with the audio nirvana super 8, the sound is really fantastic, it’ smooth, soft and almost realistic. The vocals and instruments are clear and clean.
One of the best sounding speakers I’d ever heard, I don’t feel tired listening these wonderful speakers.

The speakers sound and look wonderful. I have not listened to the mains alone, only as a set with the center speaker. As a set of 3, I think they rival the sound that {} gets out of his speakers. I can close my eyes, and almost feel like I am in the same room as the musicians… there is that much depth to the aural experience. I am very pleased with them. We’ve been using the Monitors with a single ended EL34, a single ended 2A3, and a single ended 2-807 amp, all of which have between 5-8 watts of output power. The cabinet work is fantastic, thanks so much for doing such a good job. We’ve been very impressed with the euphonic quality that these speakers have, and the imaging is incredible. – M. Newport

Frank the speakers turned out great and sound fantastic. They were delivered on time and crated for protection without harm.
